A celebration of local artisans with locally
crafted food, drinks, arts and music.
Organised by local grassroots arts folk, the Fest
will be an amazing event for all the family.
Special guests with amazing concepts will be
invited, including Marble Brewery who will be introducing small artisan
crafted beer, some made from the most surprising ingredients.
The Fest at Raceview Mill will be the first major
event at the exciting new arts and small enterprise venue on the site of the
old Raceview Woollen Mill.
One of the organisers, Willie Drennan, who is well
known in the local arts scene said “When I heard about the plans to open the
mill to encourage local arts and fledgling enterprise, I knew it would be the
ideal venue for a festival. I believe it will attract tourists as well as
people from all over Northern Ireland. This will be a fantastic showcase for
local talent.”
Raceview Mill is delightfully situated by the River
Braid on the outskirts of the multi award winning Garden Village of Broughshane
and with a link to the motorway close by.
Managing Director of the mill, Roy McKeown said “We
are delighted local people are already making plans to use The Mill to promote
local arts. Congratulations to the organisers, this looks like it will be an
amazing event”.
The Fest dates will be Friday, August 15th
and Saturday, August 16th 2014.
Festival Launch Date: Thursday, May 29th
7.30 pm at Raceview Mill on the Raceview Road, Broughshane.
